Financing for E-Charging Parks Infrastructure

For 23 years, the bk Group AG has been a leading, globally active company in charging and property development as well as technical facility management. Since 1999, the company has successfully implemented over 10,000 projects in 33 countries and now brings this experience into the construction of the infrastructure for e-charging parks.

Under the product name bk World, the issuer has developed a mobile and modular lounge concept for Greenfield loading parks and will construct and manage these for its own account.

In this way, bk Group AG is significantly supporting the upcoming mobility transition, in particular the speed of expansion of the necessary charging infrastructure.

Use of Funds

As part of the issuance of the green bearer bond, bk Group AG undertakes to use the proceeds exclusively to finance projects in the areas of environmentally friendly buildings and renewable energies.

Market environment

Electromobility is the key to climate-friendly mobility and innovation worldwide. The Federal Government is promoting the development of electromobility with a comprehensive package of measures that is continuously being expanded and adapted.

These include support for research and development, a purchase premium for electric cars and the expansion of the charging infrastructure, which the Federal Government is funding with 300 million euros.

The goal: Up to one million charging stations will be created by 2030. For a further spread of purely electric cars, 1,000 fast-charging locations are to be realised initially.
