Important regulatory initiatives in overview

The global economy must be set on a new course in order to achieve the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. For this reason, the regulatory environment is undergoing significant change. Initiative ssuch as the European Union's "European Green Deal" are intended to secure a sustainable future and, among other things, help protect the environment and avert the catastrophic effects of climate change.

The financial sector is given a central role in this development, as it is expected to channel capital flows into ecologically sustainable activities. The successful financing of meaningful sustainable activities, if implemented consistently, leads to the stabilisation of a sustainably oriented global economy and the achievement of the sustainability goals.

The purpose of our new brochure is to highlight a few of the most important initiatives (such as SFDR, EU taxonomy, Green Bond Principles, Principles of Responsible Investment and Global Reporting Initiative) around the topic of "regulation of sustainable investments".
