As a matching platform for sustainable financing and investment products, SDG INVESTMENTS works with a wide range of different investors, companies and organizations in a particularly dynamic context, as the market environment for sustainable investments is in a constant and rapid state of change.

Each member of the advisory board brings a professional expertise and a specific wealth of experience that are indispensable for the target group-oriented development of our corporate strategy.

Pia Sauerborn Family offices and investment funds

Pia Sauerborn has worked with CSR BeratungsgesellschaftmbH, an independent and owner-managed asset management company, since July 2008. As a partner and authorized signatory, she is responsible for the advisory of family offices and foundations. She has more than 12 years of experience in sustainable investment strategies. Before joining CSR, she worked for UBS Deutschland AG in Frankfurt and Bad Homburg for several years as a Client Advisor with a focus on legal and tax issues. Parallel to her studies, she also gained professional experience at the asset manager Frankfurt-Trust in the areas of risk control and pension fund management.

Rainer Königs Foundations

Rainer Königs is Deputy Head of Asset Management at Deutsche Bundesstiftung Umwelt (DBU), one of the largest foundations in Europe, which promotes innovative projects for environmental protection. From 1992 onwards, Mr. Königs was responsible for the support of institutional clients across the entire product range within the investment bank of Deutsche Bank AG. Since joining DBU in 1999, he has been responsible for fixed income securities in particular, as well as for sustainable investments. Rainer Königs is a certified sustainability manager and eco-investment advisor.

Hans-Jürgen Friedrich Risk analysis of SMEs

As a former bank director and head of credit business, Hans-Jürgen Friedrich supported medium-sized companies in obtaining financing through banks and capital markets. Since 2012 he has been a member of the board of KFM Deutsche Mittelstand AG, which specialises in the analysis and selection of investments in fixed-income securities of medium-sized companies. Mr. Friedrich is responsible for strategic management and is in charge of marketing, communication and sales. Since 2013 he has been a member of the investment committee of the German Mittelstandsanleihen FONDS and its chairman.

Prof. Dr. Klaus Fichter Sustainable Start-Ups

Prof. Dr. Klaus Fichter is founder and director of the Borderstep Institute for Innovation and Sustainability, an independent research institution in the field of application-oriented innovation and entrepreneurship. At the University of Oldenburg, he holds the associate professorship for innovation management and sustainability. Prof. Fichter is a founding member of the Center for Economic Sustainability Research (CENTOS) at the University of Oldenburg, where he heads the Network Innovation and Foundation in Climate Change (NIK). As a member of the Presidium at the Förderkreis Gründungsforschung e.V., he heads the working group "Sustainable Entrepreneurship".

Axel Wilhelm Sustainability Ratings

Axel Wilhelm has been Managing Director of imug rating GmbH in Hanover since 2016, the leading German provider for the customised implementation of ESG-Investments and for sustainability assessments. After studying economics, he gained his first professional experience at imug e. V. in Hanover. He was founder and for many years managing director of the rating agency scoris, now Sustainalytics GmbH in Frankfurt. Most recently, he worked in portfolio management at Concordia Versicherungen Hanover.
